Shelley Shepard Gray, a two-time New York Times bestseller, a two-time USA Today bestseller, a finalist for the American Christian Fiction Writers prestigious Carol Award, and a two-time Holt Medallion winner will be speaking on Saturday, February 8, at 3:00 p.m., in Rodman Public Library Main Auditorium.
Gray, who is the author of inspirational novels such as The Days of Redemption series returns to the beloved setting of her Seasons of Sugarcreek series with new characters in her recent book Hopeful, Return to Sugarcreek, Book One. The main character in her new book, Miriam Zehr, works at a town restaurant, a favorite of the local residents as well as the tourists who come to enjoy the famous Amish cooking. She tries to have a smile for every customer but knows something’s missing…is she right to hope for the life she dreams of…with a family of her own?
