Greater Alliance Community Garden Association Meeting

Paul Smith from Next Door Harvest will be joining the Greater Alliance Community Garden Association (GACGA) to discuss innovative vertical hydroponic gardening using recycled shipping containers.   The meeting will take place at Rodman Public Library at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27th.  This presentation is open to all community members.

Teen Dungeons and Dragons

Teens, 12-18, can sign up at Rodman Public Library to participate in an ongoing series of "one-shot" Dungeons and  Dragons adventures every month. Players do not have to play consistently each month to participate.

The Rodman Public Library's Teen Advisory Board will meet Tuesday, May 2 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Main Library conference room.

Teens, ages 12-18, who want to help shape teen programming and the teen collection of materials are welcome to join. The group meets regularly on the first Tuesday of each month. Hours spent attending Teen Advisory Board meetings and helping with projects count as volunteer hours.

Office Hours for US Congressman Bill Johnson

Staff members of U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson will hold office hours at Rodman Public Library on Thursday, April 6.

Jeff King, a field representative, and another staffer will be present at the library from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to talk to anyone about any government issues they may have.

Johnson, who represents the 6th Congressional District which includes the portion of Stark County in the Rodman Public Library service area as well as Mahoning and Columbiana counties, will not be present.

Are you a teen who loves to read? Join Rodman Public Library for the Teen Book Club that meets on the third Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at the Main Library. The selected title for September is The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Copies are available at the Main Library, through the library's catalog, or digitally through Axis 360 or the Ohio Digital Library. This program is patrons ages 12-18.
