The Rodman Public Library's Teen Advisory Board will meet Tuesday, May 2 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Main Library conference room.

Teens, ages 12-18, who want to help shape teen programming and the teen collection of materials are welcome to join. The group meets regularly on the first Tuesday of each month. Hours spent attending Teen Advisory Board meetings and helping with projects count as volunteer hours.

Are you a teen who loves to read? Join Rodman Public Library for the Teen Book Club that meets on the third Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at the Main Library. The selected title for September is The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Copies are available at the Main Library, through the library's catalog, or digitally through Axis 360 or the Ohio Digital Library. This program is patrons ages 12-18. Rodman Public Library is all revved up for a special teen event in April - the RPL MarioKart Tournament from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 13.

Open to teens, ages 12-18, prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers of the tournament which will feature a 1v1 format. All courses, vehicles and characters will be featured in the event. Players will alternate selecting courses and matches will be the best two out of three in the double-elimination tournament.

No registration is required to compete.
