Rodman Library’s computer classes continue in June and will run through July. Classes will be held on June 4, 6, 11, 13, 20 and 24. Hands-on classes are limited to nine (9) persons and a maximum of two (2) alternates.

Searching the Net: The focus will be on various search engines, and how to become a better Internet searcher. Prior experience with using the Internet is preferred but not necessary. Class date is Tuesday, June 4
Computer Security Basics: This demonstration class will introduce you to basic cyber security. Learn tips and tricks on how to keep your device safe. Demonstration only. Class date is Thursday, June 6
Email Basics: Reading and sending emails, plus attaching and opening attached files are explained using a free email account from Google. The class is suited to those who do not currently have an email account and are interested in creating one. Prior experience with using the Internet is preferred. Class date is Tuesday, June 11
Word Basics: Become familiar with Word through an overview of this program— word processing, how to copy, paste, add page numbers, format a document, and use templates. Attendance at Computer Basics or prior experience with Windows is preferred. Class date is Thursday, June 13
Tech Time Thursday: Our Computer Lab will be open for any questions you may have about your computer or electronic devices. Problems with your iPhone? iPad app questions? Android device concerns? We will be here to help you. Class date is Thursday, June 20
Intro to Windows 10: Curious about Windows 10? We will demonstrate how to navigate through this interface and show elements such as the Edge browser. Demonstration only. Class date is Monday, June 24, at 6:30 p.m.
