The Rodman Public Library Bookmobile will be on the road again on June 1.
After being idle for more than a year due to COVID-19, the 34-foot library on wheels will be making its first stop since April 2020 on Tuesday. From 10 to 11:30 a.m., the Bookmobile will visit Pegasus Farm Country Store, 7656 Edison Street NE in Hartville.
“We’re excited to get back out again,” said Bookmobile Manager Jamie Warnock. “We look forward to seeing all the people again.”
The Bookmobile staff will include James Sedoris and Ashley Mock throughout the summer as it makes regular stops on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays through June, July and August.
In addition to the Pegasus Farm Country Store, weekly stops will include First Christian Church, 1141 W. Beech St.; Maple Beach Park, 1295 Reed St.; the park on Wilma Avenue at Barcus Acres, and Nantucket Circle.
Rodman Public Library's bookmobile serves residents and schools in the Alliance and Marlington school districts. In addition to books, the Bookmobile, which is disability accessible, carries magazines, books on CD and your favorite DVDs for all ages, with a two-week check out for all materials. Materials may be requested by calling the Rodman Public Library at 330-821-2665 ext. 108, or by using the online catalog at https://ohio.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/rod/.
