On every Tuesday of the month, parents or caregivers are invited to participate in an entertaining evening with their preschool and school-aged children. For children ages 3 to 5, Storytime will offer music, interaction and stories. During this same time, all school-aged children will share in their own fun activities that are based on the S.T.E.A.M. program. No registration is needed. Storytime, for ages 3-5 only, continues every Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.
Join Michelle Dillon, president of the Alliance Historical Society, and learn how to discover your family history through genealogy. She will explain how to get started, where to find the genealogy databases offered on the Rodman Library website and tips for basic searching. Michelle will also discuss how genealogy has grown to become one of the most popular hobbies today. This year's community book selection is "Orphan Train," by Christina Baker Kline.
