Rodman Public Library is offering children ages 6 to 12 the opportunity to act as an archeologist this summer. Beginning July 14, kids can pick up a kit (while supplies last) in the Children’s Department at the Main Library that will include a dig brick containing real fossils, a wooden stylus, a dusting brush, and an identification guide. Children will be able to take the kit home and have fun excavating the fossils from the brick, which could contain shark teeth, ammonites, fossil snails or several other artifacts. For more information, call the Children’s Department at Rodman Public Library at 330-821-2665 ext. 223.
