The Friends of Rodman Public Library will hold its annual members meeting and conduct a mini used book sale on Saturday, April 22 at the Main Library.
All patrons who purchased a Friends of RPL membership in the past year are encouraged to attend the members meeting at 10:30 a.m. inside the auditorium. During the meeting, which is free and open to the public, members will vote on a slate of officers and three proposed revisions to the group’s by-laws. A basket will be raffled off during the meeting that will last about half an hour.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a mini used book sale will take place in the children’s programming room. The sale, which is open to the public, will start following the annual meeting and will run through 3 p.m. Only books in the following genres will be available during the sale: hardback fiction, children’s books, young adult, cookbooks, gardening, and coffee table books. The cost will be by donation.
