Lots of Fall Fun Planned for Little Ones at RPL

Three of Rodman Public Library’s most popular programs for children return to Rodman Public Library in September, including Wee Read, Family Fun Night, and Storytime.

 

No registration is required for these weekly programs.

 

Wee Read

Fall Wee Read will run between September 9 and November 20, offered on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Children, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend. Wee Read includes stories, fingerplays, music and movement. 

 

Family Fun NightFamily Fun Night

Each Wednesday between September 11 and November 20, parents or caregivers and their children, ages 3 to 12, are invited to participate in an entertaining and educational evening in Rodman Main Children’s Department as part of Family Fun Night. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. with stories and includes STEAM activities that are fun for the entire family. 

 

Storytime

Children, ages 3-5, and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend Storytime sessions this fall at Rodman Public Library. Morning sessions will be on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. between September 12 through November 21 at the Main Library. Evening Storytime sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. between September 11 and November 20 as part of Family Fun Nights at the Main Library. Storytime sessions are intended to encourage lifelong readers through stories, music, movement and activities.
