There are lots of opportunities for children to discover and explore their creative talents at Rodman Public Library.
Here's what's coming up:
HOT POTS STORYTIME
Kids will paint a special Christmas character during the December Hot Pots Storytime.
Two sessions will be held, including Wednesday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. and another on Saturday, December 7 at 11 a.m.
Children, ages 2-12, are invited to come to the Branch for a mini storytime and then proceed to Hot Pots, accompanied by their guardian, to paint a figurine of either Rudolph or Clarice from the 1964 TV film Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
The cost is $15.99 per child and registration is required. The fee for the event is payable to Hot Pots upon registration at hotpotspottery.com.

KIDS CRAFTING
Rodman Public Library’s monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, December 12 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library to create Christmas card ornaments.
All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library.
Registration is required.

LEGO LAB
Rodman Public Library’s Lego Lab continues at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17 with a a gingerbread house theme.
Lego Lab, intended for children 6-12, is held on the third Tuesday of each month and children are encouraged to create items related to the monthly theme.
The program is free, thanks to Friends of Rodman Public Library, but space is limited and participants must register.
