WE NEED YOUR HELP! The proposed state budget introduced by the Ohio House drastically reduces funding for Ohio’s public libraries, including Rodman Public Library. It eliminates the Public Library Fund (PLF) and reduces state funding for libraries by more than $100 million. The PLF provides vital funding for all public libraries in Ohio. In fact, 65% of Rodman Public Library’s funding comes from the PLF. The PLF allows us to provide services and resources that you value, including story times, summer learning programs, Bookmobile and homebound delivery services, technology assistance, as well as materials including books and electronic resources.
PLEASE HELP by calling and/or emailing your local legislator and House Speaker Matt Huffman TODAY and share with them the reasons that you LOVE Rodman Public Library and why funding for libraries is important to you. We appreciate your support!
