September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month.
Since 1987, Library Card Sign-Up Montrh has been held each September to mark the beginning of the school year. During the month, the American Library Association and libraries unite in a national effort to ensure every child signs up for their own library card.
In conjunction with the National Library Card Sign-Up Month, Rodman Public Library wants to thank our cardholders.
During September, each cardholder can enter a drawing to win a tote bag filled with RPL swag and more than $100 in gift cards from local businesses.
Two winners will be drawn at the end of the month – one child up to age 12 and one patron who is 13 and older.
Anyone with a Rodman Library card in good standing in eligible to win by stopping in to either the Main Library or the Branch Library and filling out an entry ticket.
