Meet Liz Ross Jones, an adult circulation assistant who has been at RPL for seven years.

What is your favorite part about your job?
I really enjoy seeing what books come in and out of the library and helping people find their next exciting story to read!
Who is your favorite author?
One of my favorite authors is Sarah Gailey because their books have such intriguing plots and even more fascinating characters.
What is your favorite food?
I try to get fried cheese curds as often as possible!
What is your favorite movie?
The movie Big Fish makes me cry every time I watch it -- and I’ve seen it a lot!
What is your favorite song or musical artist?
I’ve been a huge Beatles fan since I was old enough to know what music is! My favorite song is “Hey Jude.”
Do you collect anything?
I collect funky and adorable earrings. You may have seen me wearing them when I’m out at the circulation desk.
Do you have any pets?
I have three puppy babies: a 16-year-old beagle mix named Theo, an 8-year-old beagle mix named Wicket, and an almost 2-year-old Irish Setter named Madeline.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I majored in biology in college. For my senior project, I studied the behavior of black-capped chickadees.

What super power would you like to have?
Shape-shifting would be AWESOME. I could go anywhere and be anyone!
What was the last thing you binge watched?
I’m currently binge-watching Unsolved Mysteries. I’m really interested in true crime.
