Area children are invited to a family pumpkin painting event at the Rodman Branch Library on Oct. 16. Children can visit the Branch Library on that day between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. to pick out a pumpkin and paint it during the make and take activity. The library will provide the pumpkins, paint and other decorations for the kids to use. For more information, call 330-821-1313.

Get ready for the 2021 "Summer Art Experience" from home! Starting Monday, June 14, children ages 6-13 will be able to view art lessons via YouTube videos taught by six local art instructors. Art supplies for the lessons will be provided free of charge while supplies last, but children may participate by using their own supplies as well. Children will have six weeks to complete their projects.
