'The Perfect Storm' is July's Summer Movie Series Selection

Just in time for the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival, Maker Monday crafters will create a scarlet carnation wreath when they meet Monday, July 18 at 7 p.m. in Rodman Public Library’s Main Auditorium.
Teens should be prepared to get wet when they visit Rodman Public Library on Thursday, July 21. From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., an outside water obstacle course will be available for teens, ages 12-18, to try out their skills and compare their times against their friends. Water balloon games will also be offered. Teens are encouraged to bring a towel. No registration is required. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 217.
Husband and wife team Jason and Stacy Alan will bring their Magic and Malarkey show to the Rodman Main Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11.
The Alans will transport the audience into their crazy world with some mind-blowing magic, hilarious props and tons of audience interaction.
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend Nerf Night from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7. Teens should start to assemble in the Main Library auditorium at 5:15 p.m. for the after-hours event. Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library.
Children, ages 8-12, are invited to Rodman Public Library at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 to make a glass fusion suncatcher. Troy Myers from Hot Pots Kids will instruct children on how to make the craft during the free program that is sponsored by Friends of Rodman Public Library. Space is limited and registration is required.

SUMMER ART EXPERIENCE
Rodman Public Library will be closed Monday, July 4 in honor of Independence Day. Both the Main Library and the Branch Library will reopen on Tuesday, July 5 at 10 a.m.
The Friends of Rodman Public Library will hold its annual membership meeting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 11 in the Main Auditorium.
The meeting will consist of various committee reports. A raffle will also be held during the business meeting. All members of the Friends of Rodman Public Library are encouraged to attend the free meeting, which is open to the public.
