In honor of the season, we asked patrons to share with us their favorite holiday story, song or movie. Here's what they had to say:
BRENT BARNES
Having a card from Rodman Public Library is like having a subscription to hundreds of popular magazines.
That's because through the Rodman Library website, cardholders have access to more than 3,000 popular magazines, such as People, Us, Prevention, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, The New Yorker, The Economist, Woman’s World, Cosmopolitan, Crochet World, Taste of Home, Popular Science, and Guitar World, just to name a few. Many of the magazines are archived for as long as three years.
Are you feeling a little artistic this holiday season?
Rodman Public Library can help you find ways to express yourself. In fact, Rodman Library has a craft program for every age in December.
Here's a look at our lineup:
MAKER MONDAY
Monday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 p.m.
Creating a Christmas gift box made of felt and decorated with ribbon and watercolor holly leaves will be the task of Monday Maker crafters when they meet Monday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in Rodman Public Library’s Main Auditorium.
Rodman Public Library invites teens, ages 12-18, to the Main Library at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7 to paint a ceramic ornament provided by Hot Pots. The ornaments will be processed at Hot Pots and will be available for pickup at the library or at Hot Pots in time for Christmas.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we asked some of our patrons what they were thankful for about Rodman Public Library.
