Get out your dice and miniatures, there’s a new Dungeons & Dragons group forming at Rodman Public Library.
Rodman Public Library will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day. Both the main and branch facilities will open on Tuesday, Sept. 7 when Rodman Public Library will move to extended hours. Monday through Wednesday, the library will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Thursday and Friday, the library will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The library will be open on Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There’s a lot for children to do at Rodman Public Library this fall.
Maker Monday, a new in-person craft program for adults, will make its debut at Rodman Public Library on Sept. 20.

KIDS BOOK CLUB
Selections for the Kids Book Club, which will meet from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, are as follows:
Rodman Public Library’s Lego Lab will continue in October when builders will be tasked with creating a pumpkin.
The program, intended for children ages 6-12, will be held, October 11 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Participants will also have the opportunity to create whatever they would like using Legos provided by the library.
Rodman Public Library’s monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, October 12 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library to create a bead pumpkin.
All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library.
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to a Five Nights at Freddy’s Pizza and Trivia Party on Thursday, October 26 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
During the event, teens will have the opportunity to make their own mini pizza, make FNAF-themed crafts, and participate in a trivia contest to win prizes. A photo booth will also be available.
