Eat at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday, April 26 and help raise funds for the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Diners at the BW3 location at 310 W. State St. in Alliance can present a ticket obtainable at the library or tell their server they want to support the Friends of Rodman Library in order for 15 percent of their total bill to be donated to the organization.

Area students at Alliance High School and Sebring McKinley High School have shared some of their writing assignments based on Melanie Benjamin's The Children's Blizzard, the 2023 One Book One Community selection.
Students of Chris Schillig at Alliance High School were asked to write an essay comparing The Children's Blizzard to the work of other authors they have read this semester and analyze how both works demonstrate a common literary theme.
Rodman Public Library and Hot Pots are teaming up for an Egg-Cellent storytime in April.
Two sessions are planned, including one on Wednesday, April 5 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and another on Saturday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to noon.
The Alliance Vinyl Club will take on a bluesy vibe in April.
The group will welcome special guest J.J. Vicars when it gathers at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 at Rodman Public Library.
The guitar-slinger and singer is well known among Blues fans in and around the Carnation City, having built a following playing around the area for the last decade and winning the 2017 Northeast Ohio Blues Challenge.
Dr. Seuss Day, which was planned for Saturday, March 11 at the Branch Library, has been postponed.
The event will now be held on Saturday, March 18.

Rodman Public Library’s monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 6 when children, ages 6-12, are invited to come to the Main Library and decorate their own spring basket and maybe receive a treat to put inside.
All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library.
