Each year, troops all across the country take part in Klondike campouts, using these learned skills. Many hold a Klondike derby that is based on the heritage of the Klondike Gold Rush, a tradition among Scouts since 1949.
Chipotle will host a dine-to-donate event for Friends of Rodman Public Library from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1. Diners at the 1630 W. State St. location can help raise funds by presenting a flyer obtainable at Rodman Public Library or by telling their server they would like to support the Friends of Rodman Library. Those ordering online for pickup need to use the code 2BZLKE6 in order for their purchase to count towards donating 33 percent of the event sales to the cause. Delivery orders will not count toward the fundraiser.

Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to take part in a Trivia Night on Thursday, February 16 at Rodman Public Library.
From 3 to 5 p.m., teens in teams of three or four will compete in a trivia contest of random questions in games based on the format of popular game shows such as Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! for one score.
Rodman Public Library will host a Saturday matinee movie on February 11 when it screens Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on the big screen in the Main Auditorium.
Rodman Public Library’s monthly Kids Crafting program continues Thursday, February 9 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library and decorate an 11-inch by 11-inch wooden heart.
