“Tails and Tales” is the theme of Rodman Public Library’s 2021 Adult, Teens, and Children’s Summer Reading Program that begins on Tuesday, June 1 and runs through Saturday, July 31.
Get ready for the 2021 Summer Reading Program with an Animal Crossing: New Horizons summer kick-off event on Tuesday, June 1 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Rodman Public Library. All ages can bring their Nintendo Switch and Animal Crossing: New Horizons game and visit other Animal Crossing islands, including a library-themed island hosted by Rodman Library staff.
Make your meal a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Order carryout from Applebee’s, 2600 W. State Street, Alliance by either calling in or placing an order online at https://www.applebees.com or through the mobile app with the code DOINGOOD on Tuesday, May 25, from 11 a.m. to close. Orders must be carryout for 15% of the proceeds will be donated to the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Dine-in and delivery orders are not valid for this offer.
Rodman Public Library is partnering with the Alliance Historical Society to host a Freedom Trail Walk on Sunday, May 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The one mile walk will go from Rodman Public Library through the former village of Freedom to the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home along the Stark Parks Iron Horse Trail.
